The Kockney Koi Platinum 8000 Fibreglass Filters are box filters suitable for all garden ponds. This filter is simple and easy to install whilst offering a robust design and fantastic biological, mechanical and chemical filtration including: Fine polishing wadding, 3-piece foam media, blue matting, carbon foam & 10 litres of Kintama media, the Kintama media offer twice the surface area of majority of fluid bed media.
The Platinum 8000 filter is a simple yet effective design with a 250mm 2” return pipe supplied. Multi sized inlet/outlet pipes can be additionally purchased to suit your pond available in the following sizes: 1”/25mm, 1&¼”/32mm and 1&½”/38mm internal hose diameter.
The Platinum 8000 filter is suitable for approximately 8000 litres in a Goldfish Pond and 5000 litres Koi Pond, this filter requires a pump of approximately 3500-6000 litres per hour maximum.
